The University of Virginia, William & Mary, and Virginia
Tech chess clubs gathered in Charlottesville Saturday to further the tale
of our annual in-state competition. Past years have seen only the
rivalry between VT and UVA, while this year William & Mary's newly-formed
team joined the fight. All three schools were missing top players
but VT's greater strength across all boards made the Hokies clear winners.
