Results of the April 1 UVA/VPI Chess Tournament
This tournament consisted of two parts.
Part 1 was a Game/60 one round event where the teams paired off by strength
Virginia Tech won this first part with a score of 5- 2.
Part 2 was a Round Robin Game/10 Quick Chess tournament.
The tournament came down to the last round where Virginia Tech pulled away with a 26 1/2 - 22 1/2 point victory.
