Introduction
The Internet

league format.
1999 - 2000
Off to a good start with 1st place in
the Summer Blitz, this should be a great year for the Hokies!
1998 - 1999
With the high level of competition in this
season's Kick-Off Tourney, placing above our seeded position is
nothing to be ashamed of. VT took 6th place out of 9 teams.
Tech's Brian Salomon won top Board 2 with a score of 2.5/3.
In league play we showed how clearly misplaced we were in the D
conference, beating all competition. Brendan Cleary
played top Board 1 out of the entire league, and David O'Brien
was best Board 3 in the end-all tourney, which VT placed third in.
1997 -
1998
VT lost its first scored match to Illinois (B)
on March 1st. Our non-conference games are complete, with a score of
1.5.
Summer Blitz Tournament
VT ties Waterloo for 1st place!
1996 -
1997 - Inaugural Season
Virginia Tech played two teams in the ICCL Inaugural
Tournament on September 28, 1996. Two teams also participated in the
ICCL regular season, and one team in the four round season finale
tournament. In all, Virginia Tech played 24 matches of 4 boards each
against 10 different schools from around the world.
