of the 1994 ACU-I Regional Chess Tournament
The ACU-I Regional was a team competition hosted by East Tennessee State
University which included teams from Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee and
other bordering states in a 4 round Swiss.
The victorious Virginia Tech team consisted of USCF master Matthew Morgan, David Bush, Spencer Grogin, Saul Iversen. Their scores from the match being 4, 3.5, 2.5, and 2 respectively. Matthew Morgan's perfect performance earned second place overall.
