CCVT Annual Spring Tournament (Flyer)
Date: Saturday, March 28th, 2009
Adult Tournament (USCF rated):
Registration: 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM, Entry Fee - $25 before March 20th, $30 on-site; both payable during registration.
2 Sections (Open and U1600), 4 rounds G/60 Swiss system, Round times 1st - 10 AM, 2nd - 12:30 PM, 3rd - 3 PM, 4th - 5:30 PM
Prizes: 90% of entry fees paid out as prize money for 1st - 3rd in both sections
Scholastic Tournament (K-8 Players only, USCF rated):
Registration: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM, Entry Fee - $8 before March 20th, $10 on-site
2 Sections (Open and U800), 4 or 5 Rounds depending on # of entries, G/30 min 1st round, later rounds G/45 min, Round 1 at 11:00 AM, then 1 hour lunch break afterwards. Half point byes must be requested before registration closes.
Prizes: Individual Trophies for 1st - 3rd place in both sections.
Unrated Tournament (for non-USCF members):
Registration: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM, Entry fee $10 on-site only.
Time control is G/30 min, 3 or 4 rounds, 1st round - 11 AM with later rounds "as soon as possible" after previous round finishes.
Prizes: Trophies for 1st - 3rd place
