3rd annual Hokie Memorial Tournament - Saturday, October 17th
Our 3rd Hokie Memorial Tournament honors those students and professors that died on April 16th, 2007. The tournament will have adult and scholastic sections. The adult will be 4 rounds with Open and U1600 Sections. The scholastic sections will be for K-8th graders only. Cash prizes for top 3 in Open and U1600 sections, trophies for top 3 in Scholastic sections.
Fall Semester Meetings - Tuesdays 7-11 PM
Meetings for the Fall semester will be held every Tuesday starting on September 1st. The meetings will be held in Johnston Student Center's top floor from 7-11 PM. Feel free to stop by anytime and as always anyone is welcome to come and play or watch.
Summer Chess Camp - August 3rd - 5th
The CCVT will have a chess camp for K-8th graders in the Brush Mountain Rooms in Squires Student Center. The camp will be from 9 am - 12 pm on the 3rd and 4th and from 9 - 1 on the 5th.
